French Press

Lots of coffee, lots of pleasure. An affordable and efficient coffee maker to brew a large amount at once. A coffee with great body and flavor. It has many uses and is a good travel companion. Admit it—you have a crush on your French press.

Use a 1:15 ratio, that is, 250 grams of water with 16 grams of coffee.

The coffee grind should be very coarse.

Preparation

STEP 1 – GRIND AND HEAT THE WATER

Grind 16g of coffee to a very coarse consistency. Turn on the kettle to heat the water.

STEP 2 – ADD THE COFFEE

Add the desired amount of coffee to the brewer. This amount will depend on the size of your brewer and the quantity you want to prepare.

STEP 3 – POUR, STIR, AND REST

Now it's time to pour half of the water we previously heated continuously. Stir to break the crust and let it rest for 1 minute.

STEP 4 – REPEAT THE PREVIOUS STEP

After the first minute, repeat the process. Pour the remaining water, stir, and this time let it rest for 3 minutes.

STEP 5 – PLUNGER TIME!

The big moment has arrived. Place the filter and press it down slowly and steadily to the base of the brewer. Enjoy this step. Pour it all into your favorite cup. A Fanático like you doesn’t leave coffee in the brewer to over-extract. Your coffee is now ready to enjoy.
